Roy Malone

Obituary for Roy Raymond Malone, Jr. February 13, 1931 - August 31, 2017 Roy R. Malone, Jr. of Woodstock, Georgia passed away from complications due to Parkinson's disease on August 31, 2017 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, GA. A US Navy veteran, Roy is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Ann Malone (Scoggins), his children David Malone (Faye) of Stone Mountain, GA, Debbie Macomber (Ed) of Ashburn, VA, and Dawn North (Tim) of Woodstock, GA, his brother Richard Hoss (Linda) of Mobile, AL; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Roy retired after 25 years with Bausch & Lomb, and after retirement, established his own wholesale optical lab. Roy was an avid tennis player and competed in the USTA and ALTA tennis leagues in Atlanta and had a love for all animals. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. Roy's passing has left a void in all of the lives he touched. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
