Ryan Shane Ayers

Ryan Shane Ayers, 48 went home to be with The Lord October 5, 2021. Born April 1, 1973, Shane was born with hydrocephalus. This is a condition ‘characterized by excess fluid buildup impairments.’ Due to these circumstances, Shane had to undergo 5 surgeries to have shunts put in during his life. While this condition was not an easy road for Shane, he always had a smile when you walked in the room, and you felt an abundance of love. It was not just an ordinary joy; it was Joy that we receive when we put our hope and faith in Jesus. He shared this love and joy with everyone he met.

He was a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA. God would send Shane a message and Pastor Bobby Therrell would let him preach to the congregation. He was a faithful servant and took up offering and enjoyed helping with GONGS. He was saved and baptized in this church officiated by David Huggins.

Shane is survived by his mother, Faye Arrowood and Charles Arrowood. Brother, Dean Ayers and 2 sisters Sonya Dills and Kim Higdon. An uncle to Michael Dills, Ashley Dills, Camryn Higdon (Deceased), Kile Vanderhorst and Camilya Dunlop. Great Uncle to 6.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Greers Chapel Baptist Church, 1848 Greers Chapel Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Dean Ayers, Kyle Vanderhorst, Michael Dills, Mike Dills, Rick Tatum, and Rupert Ortiz. Honorary pallbearers will be, Drannon Higdon, Kenny Wilbur, randy Wilbur, and special uncle Mickey Wilbur.

Pastor Bobby Therrell and David Huggins will be officiating.
