Shirley Volk

Shirley Ann Carter Volk, 73, passed away on July 25, 2023 at her home in Fairmount, Ga. She was born in Roanoke, Va.

She loved playing with her Grandchildren & Great grandchildren. She loved Playing BINGO.

Shirley was born to the late William Robert Carter, Ruby Marie Roberts, and step dad James “Pete” Roberts. She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Carter O’Dell, brothers , James “Jimmy” Carter and Jackie Carter. 

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Glenda & Robert Bryant of Fairmount, son and Daughter in law, Richard and Candy Volk, Sr. , grandchildren Robert & Erin Bryant, John & Amy Bryant, Richard & Casey Volk, Jr. and Destiny Ray. Great grandchildren, Keegen Bryant, Sawyer Bryant, Weston Bryant, Tucker Prescott, Tyler Bryant, Gunnar Bryant, Kaiden Teague, Taylor Volk, Ansleigh Volk, And Rylee Volk. Several nieces and nephews.
