Susan Lee Anthony, a beloved member of the Hiram community, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Marietta. Susan was born on August 28, 1947, in Erie, Pa., to her loving parents Leo Joseph Matusik and Stella Mack Rzodkiewicz.
Throughout her life, Susan made significant contributions in the patient access services area at WellStar Health System. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all who had the privilege of her. Susan's impact extended beyond the workplace into her personal interests and hobbies.
Known for her vibrant personality, Susan found joy in various activities such as playing Bingo, trying her luck with lottery tickets and scratch-offs, indulging in shopping sprees, and passionately cheering for The Atlanta Braves. Her zest for life and contagious laughter will be dearly missed by all those who shared in her company.
Susan is survived by her children, Jennifer Chado (Heath) and Jeff Anthony (Jill), her brother William Arthur Matusik (Roberta), as well as her grandchildren Avery Anthony and Cole Anthony. She was a cherished presence in their lives and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A viewing will be held on July 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Mass at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw. The burial service will take place at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth at 12:30 PM.
In honoring Susan Lee Anthony's life, let us remember the laughter she brought, the kindness she shared, and the love she bestowed upon those around her. May she rest in peace knowing she was truly cherished and will be forever remembered with deep affection.
