Teri Cooper Brown

 On December 24, 2023, Teri Cooper Brown passed away peacefully at age 66 after an extended fight with pulmonary fibrosis. Born in Macon, GA to Ralph and Martha Cooper, Teri was the mother of two wonderful children, Christopher Brown and Caroline Jones. She cared deeply for her family and friends. As a former teacher and grandmother of five beautiful girls, children were her bright lights. Rather than exhaust her, they always regenerated her bubbly enthusiasm. She always ensured that every child who crossed her path was stimulated, healthy, and happy.

She graduated from Columbia High School in 1975 and earned a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia in 1978. She also earned post graduate credits at Berry College in Rome, GA. Teri is survived by her husband Steve, her son, Christopher and daughter Caroline. Her five grandchildren, Lily, 10, Layla, 8, Mea, 8, Madeline, 5, and Charlotte, 2 already miss her.
