Thomas McDermott

Mr. Thomas W. McDermott, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away at his daughter's home following an extended illness. He was 92. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Larry Niese officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 till 10:30 a.m. on Thursday before the service at the church. Burial will follow on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Mount Saint Francis Cemetery in New Windsor, New York. Mr. McDermott was born September 12, 1925 in Newburgh, New York to the late Thomas J. and Clara M. Fluss McDermott. Mr. McDermott was employed with the Crowley Food Company for 37 years as a milk man. Mr. McDermott was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ann Breitenbach McDermott; Two son in laws, Richard Douglass and Brian Brennan, and two grandsons, Seth McDermott and Colin Brennan; one brother, Charles John McDermott. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ann Marcantonio (Kim), Patricia Douglass, Barbara Brennan, and Jane Csubak (John); three sons, Thomas McDermott, Jr. (Lynn), Robert McDermott (Joanne), and John McDermott (Julie); one sister, Eva McDowell; one brother, John Maney; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; Online condolences may be made to www.PooleFuneralHome.net
