Mr. Thomas Hughes Mulloy of Canton, Georgia passed away at his residence Sunday, November 4, 2018 after a lengthy illness with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was 79. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jack Herndon officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Saint Vincent DePaul Society in care of St. Mark The Evangelist Church 7081 S E Hwy 42 Summerfield, FL 34491. Mr. Mulloy was born August 19, 1939 in Fitchburg, MA to the late Thomas and Lucille Imboden Mulloy. Mr. Mulloy served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He also worked 40 years for AT&T and Lucent Technologies as an Engineer. Mr. Mulloy volunteered at Food Banks, numerous charities and other service organizations. He also started a St. Vincent DePaul Society in Central Florida that fed and clothed hundreds of people including providing shoes for kids, living in the Ocala National Forest. Tom also loved ushering, bowling, fishing, coaching baseball, boating, running and photography. Mr. Mulloy was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Christine M. Mulloy; a sister, Judy Dolan; two brothers-in-law, George Leonard and Thomas Leonard. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maureen Mulloy, Canton, GA; two sons, Thomas M. Mulloy and Daniel L. Mulloy; two sisters, Barbara Mulloy Robbins and Karen Diccianni (Pat); two sisters-in-law, Virginia Murphy (Thomas) and Eleanor Novak (Paul); five grandchildren, Jeremy Mulloy (Becca), Casey Cuevas (Billy), Jacob Mulloy, Daniel P.
