Tom Olson- Woodstock, GA I am doing something I never thought about doing. Writing my husband's obituary. I love to write but am drained and doing this because my family thought I would be good at it. On Sunday, July 8, 2018 I lost the love of my life after 55 years of marriage. Tom Olson, 76 Woodstock, Georgia died of complications after a short hospital stay. Our family looks forward to celebrating his life with friends and family sharing memories, shedding tears, seeing and laughing with you. To know my Tom was to love him or not. He had a heart bigger than the universe, loved life, loved socializing, loved golf, loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was happiest when with family. Did not have handyman skills but had friends and great grandchildren was happiest when with family. Did not handyman skills but had friends who did. He was one of those people who leave a mark on your memory and life. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Woodstock, 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA. 30189. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 1815 Blackwell Road, Marietta, GA 30066 with Father Fred Wendel officiating.
