Timothy James Walters of Chattanooga, TN. was received by our Father in his permanent home, after an inspirational bout with pancreatic cancer in the comfort of his home in Acworth, GA. while surrounded by his family on Feb.19, 2020. Tim is survived by his loving wife Angel of 28 years, sons Timothy, Christopher and Nicholas, by his grandchildren Blake, Brooklyn, Matthew, Savannah and Allison. He is also survived by his mother Laura Walters Golden, father Arthur Excel Golden and his brother Frank Walters as well as a large extended family including in-laws Donnie and Ann Hall. Tim was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Tim always loved the outdoors whether it was hiking, fishing, running his tractor or beekeeping. He worked as an asphalt superintendent for 25 years before being forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. He also dedicated years of his life being a volunteer fire fighter in Rossville, GA. He spent his free time with his sons and playing with his grandchildren. Tim was always around to be a lending hand and source of comfort for everyone. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Andrews and his team of North West Georgia Oncology Centers for their loving care and support during his time of need. Also additional thanks to Poole Funeral Home for their acceptance and understanding during this difficult time. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday Feb.23, 2020 at 1:00pm, at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA.
