Verlon Grady

Mr. Verlon Eugene Grady, of Woodstock, GA. Passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Kennestone Hospital after a brief illness. He was 62. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Matt Amos officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Harding University Wing & Prayer Fund, Box 10768 Searcy, AR 72149. Mr. Grady was born August 27, 1954 in Marmaduke, Arkansas to the late Chester Paul and Dora Marine Hopper Grady. Mr. Grady was a Special Event Manager with Pit-Stop. Verlon was an active member of Woodstock Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Linda Beckett Grady, Woodstock, GA; his daughters, Amy Grady Ray (Brandon), Bartlett, TN., Melanie Grady Sanders (Justin), San Antonio, TX; his son, Brandon Todd Grady (Rachel Bashaw) Searcy, AR; sister, Shirley Wood, Battle Creek, MI; brother, Gary Grady (Patsy), Dexter, MO; sister-in-law, Lynnette Chacalos (Pete); brothers-in-law, Brian Beckett (Shari), Gary Beckett (Brenda); grandchildren, Sammy and Cassidie Ray, Lena and Ian Grady, Katelyn and Kaylee Sanders, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
