Wendell O'Shields

Mr. Wendell L. O'Shields, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away at his home following an extended illness. He was 75. Funeral Services for Mr. O'Shields will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Post officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home. Mr. O'Shields was born September 12, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Grady and Elsie D. Burns O'Shields. Mr. O'Shields was employed for over 30 years with Aramalite as a Machinist. He was later employed with DBCI in Douglasville, GA for 11 � years. Mr. O'Shields favorite hobbies including hunting and fishing. He had recently received his 50 year pin from Lathem Masonic Lodge #12, and was a member of the Floyd Road Baptist Church. Mr. O'Shields was also preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Allen. Survivors include his wife of 57 � years, Mrs. Linda O'Shields, Woodstock, GA; two sons, Terry O'Shields (Patricia), Todd O'Shields (Dana), all of Acworth, GA; three grandsons, Matthew O'Shields (Krista), Brent O'Shields (Crystal), and Michael O'Shields; two granddaughters, Tiffany O'Shields and Courtney O'Shields; five great grandchildren, Braden O'Shields, Camdyn O'Shields, Nolan O'Shields, Caleb Rogers, and Skylar O'Shields;
